One of the major reasons for the Rangers' success last season was the work of pitcher Jordan Montgomery, whom the Rangers acquired in a trade with the St. Louis Cardinals in the middle of the season.
A free agent, Montgomery is weighing his options on which team to sign with for next season. He's already expressed a desire to stay with the Rangers, and a local beloved restaurant has added a pretty great incentive to make sure Montgomery stays in Arlington.
Hurtado BBQ, which has a permanent stand in Globe Life Field, has offered Montgomery free barbecue for life if re-signs with the Rangers, in a video owner Brandon Hurtado posted to X.
If there's one thing we know about Hurtado BBQ, it's that they're not afraid to start a little beef in defense of the Rangers!
