There are some who wish they could live in a world where dinosaurs still roamed the earth. As crazy as that may be, for those in DFW who want to live in a real life “Jurassic World,” they will have the chance this summer to get as close to the real thing as possible. It was recently announced that the touring ‘Jurassic World Live’ show will be traveling through Texas In August, with a stop at the American Airlines Center from August 11-13.
When it was first announced a ‘Jurassic Park’ reboot was being made, no one could have expected how much larger the franchise would become. However, years later the movie have spawned multiple sequels, an animated series, a animatronic exhibit and now a touring live show that features life sized dinosaurs and performers. According to Dallas Culture Map, the Dallas dates of ‘Jurassic World Live’ will include 6 performances.
The production features 24 film-accurate dinosaurs including Velociraptor Blue, a Tyrannosaurus rex, and Bumpy, the friendly and food-motivated dinosaur form the animated series. For fans of dinosaurs or the ‘Jurassic World’ franchise, this is a show they won’t want to miss.
