Over the last couple of weeks, your house was probably feeling a little more jam-packed than usual with loved ones visiting for the holidays.

For residents of Kaufman County, that feeling of a jam-packed house is a year-long ordeal.

A new study from Cinch Home Services found that homes in Kaufman County are the most crowded in the nation, with an average household size of 3.48.

Four other counties in Texas made the top ten, including Starr County (3.45), Hidalgo County (3.22), and Webb County (3.21).

According to CW33, St. Louis City, Mo., has the smallest household size in the U.S., averaging just 1.80 people per household.
