Texas man dubbed the “Brisket Bandit” steals nearly $2,000 worth of meat

The Buda Police Department has arrested and charged a man with theft after they say he stole nearly $2,000 worth of meat.

According to KXAN, 51-year-old Armando Salazar stole $1,700 worth of brisket from an H-E-B in Buda, the Walmart in Buda, and stores in Manor and Austin.

Police arrested Salazar, whom they’ve dubbed the “Brisket Bandit,” at an H-E-B in Kyle.
