With all the classic shows that have been rebooted in the last few years, some fans have started to grow tired of the constant barrage of nostalgia. However, the latest reboot rumor has many fans excited once again. A writer for the beloved animated series 'King of the Hill' recently revealed the show is currently in negotiations to return.
Answering questions recently during a Reddit AMA, 'King of the Hill' writer Brent Forrester made a revelation that had the internet stunned. When asked about the return of his former show, Forrester said "I am sure Greg Daniels and Mike Judge will murder me for sharing this but… HELL YES. They are in hot negotiations to bring back King of the Hill." While nothing is official, Fox said back in 2017 they had "preliminary conversations" about rebooting the iconic series, according to UPROXX.
Of course, fans went nuts over this news, as many have been asking for a 'King of the Hill' reboot for years. "The characters have all aged 15 years. The project is sooooo good. Okay I've said too much," Forrester said about the project. Hopefully more news about this reboot is on the way.
