Nerf guns have been a children’s toy staple for years, and have only become more extravagant in recent years. However, while the toy company has come a long way since selling a simple plastic gun that softly fires foam darts that could barely hurt a fly, they have never created anything quite like this. A man in Alabama went viral recently after building a massive record breaking nerf gun that can destroy a pumpkin, and many nostalgic adults now want one of their own.
Like many kids, Michael Pick spent years playing with Nerf guns, and apparently that passion has not gone away. Using a 3-D printer, Pick recently built his own version of a Nerf gun that is 12.5 feet long and weighs over 200 pounds. The gun, which was recently awarded a Guinness World Record, shoots foot-long darts at 50 miles per hour.

According to Bro Bible, the Nerf gun was built using plywood, PVC pipe, foam, and 3D-printed caps. Of course, most were stunned at the damage the toy gun could create, destroying a pumpkin in the video. While it may not be for kids, this Nerf gun is definitely a nostalgic adult’s dream come true.
