Whenever there is snow, the first thing most do is attempt to build a snow man. However, one man decided to take things step further, bringing some history to his front yard. The New Jersey man went viral recently after building an exact replica of the Lincoln Memorial using snow.

Celebrating the first major snowfall of the year, Robert Schott of New Jersey decided to spend his snow day building a snow version of the iconic Abraham Lincoln statue. The 14 foot tall snow sculpture took 60 hours to complete, and has quickly become an attraction to many in the neighborhood, according to Fox News. This is not the first impressive snow sculpture made by Schott, who claims to make a new snow design every year.

“I’m always asked why I do this. One is I like to create, but I think more importantly is the joy it brings to people that come to see it,” said Schott. Many online were quite impressed with the man’s craftsmanship, managing to make the snow statue look like the real thing. Hopefully it still looks good even as it melts away.
