Ice cream? Great. Tequila? Great.
Put them together? You’re in for a heck of an ice cream Sundae Fundae.
Matthew McConaughey has announced the launch of his new booze-infused ice cream, made with his own tequila brand Pantalones Organic Tequila.
He has teamed up with New York-based ice cream chain Tipsy Scoop to launch two margarita-inspired ice cream flavors, one of which will only be available in Dallas.
The first flavor, the Pantalones Peaches & Cream Margarita Ice Cream is available at all Tipsy Scoop locations nationwide.
The second flavor, the Dallas Margarita Sorbet, which will be served exclusively at the forthcoming Dallas Tipsy Scoop "barlour," which is set to open "later this summer or early fall," the company said per CultureMap Dallas.
Tipsy Scoop founder and CEO Melissa Tavss said in a release, “We love transforming iconic cocktails into unforgettable frozen desserts, and margaritas have always been a customer favorite.
"Partnering with Pantalones Organic Tequila allowed us to create a flavor that captures everything people love about a refreshing tequila cocktail in a fun, scoopable format.”
