It seems any time a company announces a move to North Texas, there’s a good chance they end up in Frisco. Now, on the heels on Universal announcing a new theme park in the city, a major company from California announced they will be opening a regional headquarters in Frisco as well.
Cybersecurity company McAfee will soon open offices at The Star with plans to open by mid-2023.

On Thursday, McAfee announced plans to bring a regional headquarters to DFW, joining a number of other companies that have moved to the metroplex in recent years. “Our decision to choose Frisco for our regional HQ was also based on the diverse cultural destination the city has become, and the many opportunities our team members will have to be immersed in the community and to give back to the many non-profit organizations here,” said Benni Bueckert, a McAfee vice president.

According to WFAA, it is unknown how many employees will work at the new McAfee HQ. “We are proud to have a global leader like McAfee regionally headquartered in Frisco,” said Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney. With this move, Frisco continues to grow at a rapid pace.
