Matthew McConaughey is one of the biggest names in Hollywood, and while the actor likely can go after any role he wants, it appears it’s an old character he seems to want to go to next. McConaughey recently publicly lobbied to return for the third installment of ‘Magic Mike.’ The actor starred alongside Channing Tatum in the 2012 film.
During a recent interview, Matthew McConaughey was asked if he had any interest in returning to the ‘Magic Mike’ franchise. To the surprise of many, the actor seemed up for it saying, “Channing Tatum, call me, bro! I haven't heard from ya!" While nothing has been made official, McConaughey went on to say he would want to see the script before agreeing to anything, according to People.
Last year, Tatum confirmed ‘Magic Mike 3’ was in the works. While McConaughey starred in the original, he wasn’t in ‘Magic Mike XXL.’ Now many are hoping it isn’t too late for a reunion.
