Less than a year since its debut across the Lone Star State, McDonald’s is pulling the plug on half of its CosMc’s locations in Texas.
CosMc’s offered a limited menu focused on “coffee, lemonades, tea, slushies and energy drinks, all with customization options,” according to WFAA.
Earlier this month, McDonald’s announced that three of the larger format CosMc’s in the state will be closing. Six of the seven CosMc's locations are in Texas, with two locations in San Antonio and four in North Texas.
The company didn’t specify which locations would be closing.
McDonaald’s did express that more, smaller CosMc’s locations are on the way, including locations in Watauga and Arlington.
According to CosMc’s website, a location in Allen is also still on the way.
