Last year, many were stunned when the mugshot of actor Shaun Weiss, known for playing Goldberg in Disney’s ‘Mighty Ducks’ franchise, went viral. The actor was unrecognizable in the photos taken after he was arrested for suspicion of burglary and being under the influence of methamphetamine. Now, after a year of sobriety, the actor has shared his transformation, and many fans are happy to see a face they once recognized.
Weiss reached the one year sober mark this week according to his friend, Drew Gallagher. Gallagher claimed Weiss delayed his Christmas celebration, instead opting to open presents on the day celebrating his year of sobriety. He is still living in a sober living and is working on writing scripts according to his friend.
Back in September, it was reported Weiss received a full dental scholarship to get new teeth. Many fans have shared their support of the actor on social media. Hopefully the actor continues on this path, and fans will be seeing more of him soon enough.
