When a new ‘Mighty Ducks’ reboot series was first announced, the first question fans immediately asked was; which original cast members would be returning? Now, the creator of the upcoming Disney+ series has revealed which original cast members would appear in the series. According to Steven Brill, six of the original cast members make an appearance in ‘Mighty Ducks: Game Changers’ along with their coach; Gordon Bombay, played by Emilio Estevez.
The upcoming ‘Mighty Ducks’ reboot is still a week away from debuting, but fans are starting to get a taste of what’s to come. According to creator Steven Brill, the new series will feature plenty of nostalgia. As for the returning cast; the new series will see the return of Elden Henson as Fulton, Matt Doherty as Averman, Vinny La Russo as Adam Banks, Marguerite Moreau as Connie, Garret Henson as Guy, and Justin Wong as Kenny Wu, according to Yahoo.
“There is a Spirit of the Ducks gala where they’re honoring the current coach and the history of the Ducks and that’s what brings us all back together,” said Henson. Sadly, fan favorite Jeremy Jackson, who played Charlie, won’t be returning at this time, but Brill said that could come in the future. Hopefully once the show starts, more former cast members will join.
