Though she is just in her second season, the Dallas Wings’ Paige Bueckers is already breaking WNBA records.
Per NBC DFW, Bueckers’ jersey from her WNBA debut recently sold for $64,720, more than twice the amount the previous record jersey sold for.
That jersey belonged to four-time WNBA MVP A’ja Wilson, and was worn during the WNBA Finals last season.
Bueckers said at practice over the weekend, “That's insane to me just thinking about it. I'm feeling very blessed that people are investing in women's sports,"
“You can see the rise in popularity and the growth.”
The 2025 WNBA Rookie of the Year jokingly added that she “wouldn't pay $10 for my own jersey.”
