A pair of former work colleagues are working to develop Dallas' first country club specifically geared towards kids.

Williams recently wrote on LinkedIn that country clubs prioritizes kids over adults "when it comes to design, indoor space allocation, amenities, and programming."

Williams, along with his partner Nick Clark, want to develop the first boutique country club "that only specializes in elevating the social membership experience for families."

He told Dallas Innovates, "There's a real hunger for family-focused spaces," he said, adding that the project fills a gap where "communities are starving for this—places where kids can roam freely, and parents can truly relax."

The duo have already snatched up a property: the old Northlake Building located at 10405 E. Northwest Highway.  The pair envisions the club having 18,000 square feet of indoor space for kids, family dining, adult dining, a "state-of-the-art" fitness and wellness facility, an outdoor playground, and a resort-style pool.
