One of the trendiest hot spots in DFW recently announced it is here to stay. Over the last few years, Sweet Tooth Hotel has fascinated the metroplex with their pop up experimental art shows. Now, the art gallery has found a permanent home in Downtown Dallas that is expected to open this summer.
Sweet Tooth Hotel was founded in 2018, and since has grown quite a bit, with pop up art shows throughout the metroplex featuring exhibits about everything from sugar to retro-futurism to yarn. Now, they will be opening a new space at 1511 Elm St where it will house nine gallery spaces, a gift shop, and a cocktail lounge sponsored by Calirosa Tequila, according to Dallas Culture Map.
"From the art installations to the specialty cocktails, we're infusing every inch with imagination and joy," said founder Jencey Keeton. The new 6,000 square foot space will be their largest yet. Hopefully they are ready for all the Instagram photos that will be taken in the new gallery.
