The Powerball Jackpot is on the rise once again, as their most recent drawing went without a winner. After 34 straight drawings without a winner, the prize is now up to $650 million. If a winner is selected on Monday it will be the ninth largest prize in Powerball history.
On Saturday, Powerball drew white numbers 7, 23, 24, 32, 43 and red Powerball 18, which no players were able to match. That brought the value for Monday’s drawing up to $650 million, with a cash option of an estimated $328.3 million. According to Newsweek, the last Powerball winner went home with $252.6 million on April 19.
The largest ever prize happened back in November when a winning ticket was sold in California for $2.04 billion. If no winner is found Monday, the prize will continue to increase. Maybe this one will eventually become the next highest prize of all time.
