"Can you take me higher?!" Every Rangers fan is asking that questions as the team is one game away from a spot in the American League Championship Series, where they would play for their first pennant since 2011.
The Rangers are on a tear this postseason, having won four games in a row, and their success is being credited with a very simple change: The team is blasting Creed in the locker room.
Following the team's 11-8 win over the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday, pitcher Andrew Healy told 105.3 The Fan's Jared Sandler that "that the team has been playing the rock band Creed in the clubhouse, and it's pumped them up throughout the second half of the 2023 season."
Per CBS Sports, Heaney also noted that if Creed was played throughout the Rangers' home stadium of Globe Life Park this week, the team would be "incredibly fired up about it."
The Rangers seem to have the endorsement of the band themselves, who posted on X, "Let's go Rangers, let's go!"
