The restaurant credited with inventing the buffalo wing has made its way to North Texas.

Anchor bar, which was first opened in Buffalo, NY in 1964, has opened a new location in Frisco, right across from Toyota Stadium, the home of FC Dallas.

According to CW33, the restaurant opened to the public last December, but held a ribbon-cutting ceremony last Tuesday to mark its official grand opening.

Anchor Bar is located at 6129 Main St., or the corner of Coleman Blvd. and Main Street, and is open seven days a week, starting at 11:00 AM for lunch and dinner.
