Mac and cheese is a dish beloved by many. While it’s a staple of childhood cuisine, parents are always quick to steal a bite as well. Now, a new restaurant that specializes in mac and cheese is coming to North Texas and they have a special offer for their grand opening.
‘I Heart Mac & Cheese’ is set to open their doors for the first time tomorrow in Highland Village, and to mark the occasion the restaurant will reward their first 10 customers with free mac and cheese for a year. The restaurant is located at 2250 Justin Rd. #112 and opens at 11 A.M. Each bowl of mac and cheese is customizable as they offer pasta, bread, quinoa, broccoli, cauliflower, or tater tot base with a choice of 10 proteins, 11 vegetables, and nine cheeses.
Along with mac and cheese the restaurant also offers a number of sandwich options, including grilled cheese. According to Dallas Culture Map, their signature dish is "The Best of Both Worlds," a Baked Mac & Cheese Sandwich with short rib, white cheddar cheese, and American with BBQ sauce. For mac and cheese lovers, they may soon have a new favorite restaurant.
