The Reunion Tower is getting a much-needed face lift.
This week, engineers are installing new lights on the Dallas landmark for the first time since January 1, 2012.
Reunion Tower officials said in a statement per WFAA, :This is a big moment that doesn't happen frequently.”
The new lights will grow brighter, and 32 additional smaller lights are being installed as well.
"Even more simply put, the new light is brighter and has more bulbs that can create better color and white light," the release states.
