It's not just us looking to seek refuge from this insane heat as temperatures continue to rise in Texas.

Rising temps means more bugs will also be seeking shelter inside of our homes!

According to pest control specialist, The Pest Dude, Texas is predicted to have a much warmer summer than average, and it's a kind of heat that will make insects head into your home for relief and food.

Per NBC DFW, this summer could see a high number of cockroaches, ants, spiders, houseflies, bed bugs, centipedes, crickets, silverfish, and even stink bugs making their way into our houses to escape the heat.

Parts of Texas could also experience an invasion of scorpions trying to make their way inside.

To help keep the bugs out, experts recommend sealing any cracks and replacing weather stripping.
