Rod Stewart has done a lot for his fans over the years, but his latest act of kindness may be the most special yet. The iconic singer recently reached out to a fan fighting cancer with a special message. In the video message sent to his fan Gary, Stewart sings ‘You’re In My Heart’ while wishing his fan well.

As seen in the clip that recently went viral, Stewart sings an a cappella version of his hit 1977 song ‘You’re in My Heart (The Final Acclaim),’ while his fan Gary watches on a split screen. The video ends with Stewart blowing Gary a kiss and wishing him a “Merry Christmas.” Gary responded to the video calling it “brilliant.”

“Sir Rod Stewart surprises & sings to Gary, a fan whose loving niece Jenna did everything to get through to the British star, all for her uncle with brain cancer,” said Good News Movement who shared the now viral video. According to Ultimate Classic Rock, the family claimed Gary’s reaction was the most he had spoken in weeks. Hopefully the video helps Gary keep fighting.
