With the help of the public, police officers were able to track down and arrest a teen thief who was dubbed the "courteous robber."
Late last month, the teen robbed Top Cloud Vape but apologized to the clerk as he was on his way out to the store telling them he'd "fallen on hard times."
Viewers of Shaun Rabb's Trackdown story on FOX 4 were able to help police identify the suspect, who was wearing a dark hat and sunglasses but otherwise left his face pretty visible. Including this arrest, FOX 4 viewers have helped police make 199 arrests.
Rowlett Police Det. Eric Shing said of the "courteous robber," He's used a handgun. So we know that he's able to resort to violence and he's going to hit again if he truly is on hard times and desperate."
