Shaquille O’Neal moved to North Texas a little over a year ago, and the NBA Hall of Famer turned businessman is staking his claim in the Lone Star State’s food market.
Shaq is opening the first DFW location of his restaurant Big Chicken in the Alliance area near Fort Worth!
According to CultureMap Fort Worth, the restaurant will open in spring 2024.
Some of Big Chicken’s notable dishes include popcorn chicken, its grilled cheese sandwich on rustic Italian bread featuring three cheeses, chipotle BBQ sauce, and pieces of fried chicken, and its fries which are thick cut steak fries which come seasoned, or in a "dirty" loaded option topped with cheese sauce, bacon, banana peppers, and chipotle BBQ sauce.
Big Chicken will be located at 9755 North Fwy., in the Victory Shops at Heritage Trace, at the northwest corner of I-35W and Heritage Trace Parkway in the Alliance area.
