The ‘Barbie’ movie is finally set to premiere this week and fan anticipation could not be higher. With Barbie events happening all over the country, and fans expressing their love for the doll all over the internet, it’s hard to look anywhere without seeing a little bit of pink. However, the excitement may have finally gone overborn online, as someone recently used artificial intelligence to make Johnny Cash sing the classic song from the 90s ‘Barbie Girl.’

There are many reasons people are scared about the recent advancements in AI, but after hearing this song they may not be so nervous. Over the weekend, a mashup was shared on the ‘There I Ruined It’ YouTube channel that had Johnny Cash singing the 1997 Aqua song ‘Barbie Girl.’ According to Parade, the mashup also includes bits of ‘Wannabe’ by Spice Girls and ‘Party in the USA’ by Miley Cyrus.

In the song, Cash sings the ‘Barbie Girl’ lyrics over his 1968 song ‘Folsom Prison Blues.’ At one point the AI version of Johnny Cash says “This is what you guys call music? Well I'll be d---ed.” While the real Cash was almost always seen wearing black, it appears the AI version likes to throw on some pink every once in a while.
