Study names Austin the best state capital to live in

A new study from WalletHub listed Austin as the best state capital to live in, based on 48 different factors that included affordability, income and job growth, education quality, health care, nightlife and culture, crime, and weather.

Austin ranked No. 4 in its Affordability Rank, No. 1 in Economic Well-Being, No. 1 in Quality of Education & Health, and No. 10 in Quality of Life.

The ten best state capitals to live in include:

1 – Austin, TX
2 – Raleigh, NC
3 – Atlanta, GA
4 – Madison, WI
5 – Boise, ID
6 – St. Paul, MN
7 – Lincoln, NE
8 – Bismarck, ND
9 – Denver, CO
10 – Salt Lake City, UT

And the ten worst state capitals to live in are:

10 – Carson City, Nevada
9 – Frankfort, KY
8 – Hartford, CT
7 – Montgomery, AL
6 – Dover, DE
