Texans are extremely loyal to anything and anyone that comes from the Lone Star state. Being from Texas created a bond no other state could possibly understand. That’s why any time a Texan is asked their preference on a certain product, Whataburger, HEB, Buc-ee’s, Dr Pepper or any other beloved Texas company will likely be mentioned first. However, it was a different Texas brand that was recently named the state’s most beloved brand by a new study, Pizza Inn.

On Deck recently conducted a study to find each state’s most beloved local brand. Using over 2 million tweets to determine the brand each state is most loyal to, the study was able to find some obvious choices for some states, and some major surprises in others. Texas was one of the surprise states, as the study found Pizza Inn was the most beloved brand based on the number of positive tweets it received.

According to Daily Mail, Pizza Inn had 55.2% positive tweets, which was higher than Whataburger, HEB or any other iconic Texas consumer brand. Oddly enough, the most-loved consumer brand analyzed was Darn Tough Vermont, a sock manufacturer with a 92.6% positivity rating on Twitter.
Clearly those talking negatively about Texas brands on social media aren’t really from here.
