People stealing packages sitting outside of homes have become a major problem all throughout the United States, especially during the holiday season. Far too often porch pirates end up with the items others have purchased. However, one group of porch pirates in Texas recently felt a bit of the holiday spirit, returning the packages they stole to their rightful owners.

Last week, the Clark family from Texas was waiting for the packages they ordered when they noticed they had gone missing. After checking their doorbell camera, they saw the packages were stolen by a group of teenage girls. “Honestly, it was shocking. You don’t expect somebody to steal something from you and bring it back. These are for our two nieces and my nephew,” said homeowner Bryant Clark.

Luckily for the family, a few days later the packages returned, as a group of girls brought them back after their parents spoke to them and encouraged them to do the right thing. According to Fox News, the Clark family forgave the girls after a long discussion. Hopefully this persuades more porch pirates to do the right thing as well.
