42-year-old Michael Valadez of College Station was arrested last week after he attacked and robbed an ice cream truck driver.
According to KBTX News 3, police say Valadez attacked the driver with "unfounded suspicions" of any wrongdoing.
Officers found a firearm in Valdez's vehicle.
He is facing charges of robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm.
