A Texas man has been arrested after police say he shot at his neighbor over concerns that her horse was getting “too fat.”
39-year-old Lee David Stole is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and is currently being held in Polk County jail with no bond.
According to Click2Houston, the victim told officers that she was feeding her horse when Stole opened fire, striking her in the arm and possibly her back. Records state that Stole, “did not want the horse to get too fat.”
Stole was found in a wooded area near his home in the Leggett area. The victim was taken to the hospital, though there are no updates on the severity of her wounds.
