A lot of people are worried about A.I. taking over their jobs, but what about A.I. taking over the job of trying to find people a job?
25-year-old Leo Humphries in Houston landed an interview for what he considered a "dream job." Unfortunately, his interview was derailed thanks to its host, an A.I. bot that kept glitching and eventually ended the interview before he could answer a single question.
Humphries posted a video of his internet on TikTok, as well as a follow-up where explained that about an hour after the interview, he received an e-mail that read, "Hi, Henry" (not his name), and followed by, it was "a pleasure meeting you yesterday" and learning about your background, goals, and "passion for storytelling."
He didn't even get to answer a single question!
According to Newsweek not all was lost, as Humphries did gain 50,000 followers on TikTok. And the company said they would be keeping his application on file, just in case he advances to the next round of interviews which will be conducted by the refrigerator in the break room.
