Last month, two men were arrested in Tarrant County in connection with a multi-state theft ring that stole $400,000 worth of Lego figures from multiple Targets and Walmarts.

An investigation that began with stolen Cricut machines in 2022 led police to uncover this traffic ring that would steal not only Cricut machines to sell them online, but Lego figures as well!

Investigators found that Brian Keith Fleming, 33, and Ladarion Dontre Anderson, 33, both of Lancaster, Texas, would work with a circle of shoppers to steal multiple Lego sets from stores using forged receipts to fool any employee who inquired.

All told, invoices from online resellers found the crime ring stole $400,000 in Lego sets!

Fleming and Anderson are both facing charges of engaging in organized criminal activity and theft over $300,000. Fleming was booked into the Smith County Jail on Dec. 6, and Anderson remains in the Tarrant County Corrections Center.

Bond for the two charges has been set at $1,100,000.
