Most people agree, the best part of going to the movie theater is the popcorn that is served at the concession stands. For some reason, movie theater popcorn is substantially better than anything bought in a store or made at home. Some people believe it’s the butter, others think it’s the machine making the popcorn, but for patrons of at the Century 16 Theater in Corpus Christi, it’s all about the man serving up the popcorn that makes it so good.
Over the weekend, video of a movie theater employee in Corpus Christi serving popcorn quickly went viral, as the man behind the counter turned shoveling popcorn in a bucket into an art form. In the now viral video, the man fills two popcorn buckets, spinning the bucket on his hand between shoveling popcorn and adding butter. According to My San Antonio, the employee was Jason Grossboll and he has been working at the theater for 10 years.

Grossboll has become so popular at the theater for his popcorn skills, that his name tag even reads “the Popcorn Guy.” "At first, no one really understood it, but as time passed on, people loved it," said Grossboll. Thanks to the internet, even more people are now fans of his skills.
