Texas State University appeared in its first bowl game over the weekend, an interstate matchup against Rice University in the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl, which was played at SMU’s Gerald J. Ford Stadium.

And while Texas State took care of business on the field and defeated Rice 45-21, fans took care of business in the beer lines.

According to Outkick, Texas State fans drank their side of the stadium dry, consuming all the alcohol that was available for them to purchase.

And it wasn’t long before all the booze on the Rice side was consumed as well.

According to TexasFootball.com, the announced attendance was 26,542 fans.  Hopefully there were a few DDs in there.
