Over the weekend, 150 gallons of Part B, a resin used in spray foam, spilled all over the road near Milano Drive and Venetian Way in Keller.
Keller Fire-Rescue did what it had to do to contain the hazardous spill, but they quickly issued an apology for what they had to do.
The department asked for forgiveness for using the term “kitty-litter-ed” to explain their methods to contain the spill. Kitty litter was used to soak up all noticeable concentrations of the resin.
In a statement per WFAA, the department said, “The street may look dirtier than usual for a little while, but the remaining residue will fade with evaporation and normal traffic.”

While Keller's initial response crews were enough to contain the spill, the Northeast Fire Department Association (NEFDA) Hazmat was also called out as a precaution and resource.
