A lot of schools and businesses across Texas are giving students and employees the day off on April 8th to observe the total solar eclipse. Since you have the day off, might as well crack open a bottle of wine, right?
And to celebrate such a momentous occasion as the total solar eclipse, Farmhouse Vineyards in Johnson City, TX is releasing a limited-edition wine made with grapes harvested during the 2017 eclipse!
According to the Dallas Morning News, only 20 cases of The Observer will be produced, and only 16 will be made available for purchase.
Katy Jane Seaton, co-owner of Farmhouse Vineyards, said, "You'll never find a more handcrafted, curated, cultivated wine in your life than this one.
"This is a wine full of meaning for us, and we want to share it with the world."
The Observer costs $500 a bottle, and each purchase includes two VIP tickets to an eclipse viewing event at Farmhouse Vineyards Marketplace Tasting Room in Johnson City.
