A woman named Trinity Jackson recently went to El Paso to visit her mother when she needed to make a quick trip to Home Depot to grab some zip ties.

Though Jackson is from Houston, the Texas highway system can be a bit unforgiving at times, which is how during a quick run to Home Depot, Jackson somehow ended up in Mexico.

According to Yahoo, Jackson was driving with her music blaring and her dogs in the car and didn't realize that she missed her exit.  When she looked up, she noticed a sign that read "Port of Juarez," and came to the realization that she was exiting America and entering Mexico.

Jackson explained in a TikTok that she could not find an area that would allow her to make a U-Turn and was forced to drive further into the country.  When she finally encountered Border Patrol, they asked for a valid vehicle registration which she didn't have, and couple that with a language barrier she grew frustrated and worried that she would be stuck in Mexico with no way to get home.

Luckily, she had her driver's license and other legal documents, and after using Google Translate she was able to explain her predicament.  Border Patrol agents stopped traffic for her and allowed Jackson to turn around and head back home.

In a follow up video, Jackson explained that she wasn't worried about going to Mexico, but was more concerned about being unprepared for the situation while having her dogs with her.
