How about heading to McKinney for one of the best family-friendly restaurants in the nation?
The Yard, located in downtown McKinney, was recently named the eighth most family-friendly restaurant in the nation in a new study from Yelp.
Yelp reports that The Yard is "a great place to have old-fashioned fun in the sun," and the site also praised the restaurant for its "legit" kids' mac and cheese.
Elsewhere around DFW, Stix Icehouse in McKinney placed No. 22 on the list of most family-friendly restaurants in the nation, and Hutchins BBQ in Frisco came in at No. 32.
