Over the last few seasons, Mavs fans have had a lot to swear about.
A new study from conducted by Chicks Gold found that Mavs fans rank in the top ten of NBA fans that use the most profanity.
According to CW33, the study analyzed 200 of the most popular posts and comments from each NBA team’s subreddit, and researchers tracked 35 different profanities to determine the frequency of their use by fan bases.
The top ten NBA fan bases that use the most profanity include:
1 – Philadelphia 76ers
2 – New York Knicks
3 – Milwaukee Bucks
4 – Los Angeles Lakers
5 – Miami Heat
6 – Minnesota Timberwolves
7 – Indiana Pacers
8 – Phoenix Suns
9 – Boston Celtics
10 – Dallas Mavericks
At the opposite end of the spectrum, Utah Jazz fans were found to be the most clean-mouthed, followed by fans of the Charlotte Hornets and the San Antonio Spurs.
