It's crazy how popular baseball cards have gotten over the past couple of years.
How many of us grew up collecting baseball cards, only to throw or give them away because we didn't want to keep moving them from house to house? Now, the baseball card business is BOOMING.
There are events all across the country where people can trade or purchase rare and exclusive cards, and one was held in North Texas just over the weekend, the Dallas Card Show, one of the largest card dealer events in the country.
On Sunday though, the last day of the event, as Legacy Cardz was taking down their booth, a few men distract the vendors, while another swiped a case behind them!
The case had very valuable cards. VERY valuable.
All told, Ashish Jai of Legacy Cardz told NBC DFW the thieves got away with almost $2 million in stolen baseball cards!
Jai posted several images and videos of the thieves in action and has offered a $70,000 reward for any information on the suspects or the location of his cards.
