One lucky person in DFW is about to have their life changed in a major way. Texas Lotto announced this week a winning lottery ticket was recently sold in Mansfield for their most recent grand prize. The lucky winner correctly picked the six numbers to win the $7.5 million prize.
On Wednesday, Texas Lotto held their most recent drawing and pulled the numbers “5-13-22-29-37-48.” The next morning the lottery service announced a ticket with matching numbers was sold at One World Grocery in Mansfield.
According to KVUE, the winner selected to receive annual payments of $250,000, instead of taking the lump sum.
No one has come forward as the winner yet, but they’ll have 180 days to claim their prize. “If you have the winning ticket, we encourage you to sign the ticket, put it in a safe place, seek financial and legal advice, and call the Texas Lottery to schedule an appointment to claim the prize,” said Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery. The next Texas Lotto drawing is this weekend, so soon someone else in DFW will become an instant millionaire.
