Every student has thought about using the old "my dog ate my homework" excuse to get out an assignment. However, after years of attempts teachers are no longer falling for it, even if someone's dog actually did eat their homework. Luckily for two students in the Philippines, security cameras caught the moment dogs ate their homework as they napped nearby, and the video has since gone viral.
As seen in the video, a husky and a pug enter the room where the two students are sleeping and quickly cause chaos. The husky knocks a packet of papers off the media console, while the pug hops on one of the sleeping boys' chest. The two dogs then begin chewing the papers, even at one point playing tug-of-war with their homework.
The boys later woke up to discover their work had been destroyed. According to the two boys, cousins Darren James Lamban and JB Barit, they realized the moment was likely captured on security cameras. Luckily, they now have an excuse their teacher has to believe, and the internet has this hilarious video.
