Whenever anyone is thinking about becoming a cop, one of the first things they dream about is being involved in a high speed police chase. Though they can be extremely dangerous, it is one of the most exciting aspects of the job. Sadly for one officer is Alvarado, his recent police chase wasn’t quite what he thought it would be. As seen in a video that recently went viral the officer was involved in a police chase, but sadly it was a pig he was tracking down, not a criminal.
On Thursday, the Alvarado Police Department shared a video of one of their officers attempting to run down a pig on the loose. The incident occurred in a Sonic parking lot, as a customer was able to film the cop running after the pig from their car. According to CBS News, the police chase started along U.S.
Highway 67, before heading to the Sonic parking lot.
Luckily, the cop eventually caught the pig and it is currently with animal control. Of course, the police department couldn’t help but poke fun at the situation, captioning the video “Give us what you got! There are entirely too many jokes … so put your best in the comments section!" Hopefully the pig learned its lesson and will live a law-abiding life from now on.
