Paul Box of Waxahachie apparently decided to fit in all of his New Year’s resolutions for 2026 into the first month of the year.
For the second time, Box has run seven marathons, on seven different continents, over the course of just seven days!
He just didn’t run, Box WON, averaging just under three-and-a-half hours per marathon! “Life can be boring if you don’t adventure some, so this is my way is to adventure,” Box told WFAA.
The marathons began in Antarctica and ended in Miami. A lot of his friends and family though Box was nuts, especially for signing up for the race a second time, but Box loves the experiences he gets out of competing.
“It’s definitely made me much more curious, and I would say culturally aware,” he said.
