Most Whataburger fans have a go-to order every time they hit the drive-thru, but recently the fast food chain has been making it harder and harder for their most loyal customers to stick to the favorites. That’s because they keep adding new items to the menu that people must at least try. Now, they have done it yet again as just a few weeks after adding a new chili cheese burger to the menu, Whataburger has added chili cheese fries to go with it.

On Monday, Whataburger fans were surprised by a new addition to the menu they never thought they would see. The fast food chain added chili cheese fries to the menu for a limited time. The new menu item features Whataburger's fries topped with its signature beef chili and fancy cheddar jack cheese.

According to My San Antonio, the fries can be ordered with chili and cheese for $4.29 or just chili for $3.69. “We’re answering the call from Whataburger fans loving the new Chili Cheese Burger and requesting chili cheese fries," said Rich Scheffler, Whataburger executive vice president and chief marketing officer. With this new item, it will be hard much harder for Texans to pick another fast food chain over Whataburger.
