One of the four remaining pairs of red slippers worn by Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz are set to be sold at an auction in Dallas.
The slippers are also notable, as twenty years ago they were stolen from the Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Thieves smashed a window to the museum and stole the slippers in 2005. Their whereabouts remained unknown until the FBI recovered them in 2018.
The slippers will be sold by Dallas-based Heritage Auctions.
According to NBC DFW, this auction of movie memorabilia will also include other items from The Wizard of Oz, such as a hat worn by Margaret Hamilton's Wicked Witch of the West, and the screen door from Dorothy's Kansas home.
