At 83 years old, Paul Simon has plans to return to the stage after a 7 year hiatus from performing.

The trek comes after the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member retired from touring in 2018 and revealed he was suffering hearing loss in 2023. The loss of hearing in his left ear impacted the creation of his last album, Seven Psalms, but despite it all, the GRAMMY winner shared he had hopes it would “repair itself.” While his hearing remains an issue, Simon has felt inspired to perform again despite the struggles.

The musician will embark on a specially thought out tour he’s calling, A Quiet Celebration Tour, which will feature a series of intimate concert performances throughout spring and summer 2025. Each venue on the trek was picked by Simon and fit his wishes for high-standard acoustics to help him perform his best despite his hearing loss.

It all kicks off April 4 in New Orleans and will continue throughout the U.S. and Canada through spring and summer. Shows will conclude in August. Tickets go on sale February 21 at 10AM local time and can be found here.
