PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The number of COVID-19 cases being reported in Allegheny County is once again in the triple digits on Thursday but the numbers are well below 200.
147 new cases have been reported in the past 24 hours out of 1,172 test results. The age range of new cases are in those 9 to 93 years old, with the median age being 38.
Of those cases, 140 are confirmed and seven are probable.
The dates of the positive tests ranged from July 6 through July 22.
There are now 6,817 coronavirus cases confirmed in the county since the first case was reported on March 14.
There are also 15 new hospitalizations being reported bringing that total past or present to 551 and an 87-year-old. The dates of those deaths are June 28 and July 22.
Two additional deaths are being reported. The dates of those deaths are June 28 and July 22.
The deaths are in an 80-year-old and an 87-year-old.
The county has altered the daily alerts sent out to reflect the numbers reported in the past 24 hours and not the cumulative numbers.
