PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA - A woman was stopped by TSA agents Wednesday after they spotted a loaded 9 mm handgun in her purse.
The Indiana County woman was escorting her son to his flight when she was stopped at the security checkpoint.
It is the 15th gun stopped by TSA agents at Pittsburgh International Airport this year.
Last year, 34 firearms were stopped at the checkpoint.
Agents contacted Allegheny County Police who confiscated the gun and held the woman for questioning.
